For the homebody
I would save these for those in your life who you know well enough to have visited their house before. I love to think about those little everyday things that can just make their everyday life a little more beautiful. Things like ceramics (also because they don’t need to match what they already own), versatile drinkware that can be used for flowers or drinks, trinket bowls that can be used for keys, jewellery or to serve.
I would avoid things like cushions, bedding and lighting because they can be quite personal and big display items.
Single, well designed plates are perfect for the homebody. They can use it as a tray for their trinkets or you could bundle it with some really beautiful butter or favourite snacks.
Luxe Gift
$ and can be used as a trinket tray for rings
BRASS Ravioli Moulds/Cutters
$$
YIAYIA & FRIENDS Garlic Olive Oil

Luxe Gifting
You cannot go wrong with gifting a unique water jug in my opinion. Just choose a colour that you think best suits your loved one. Even better because they can also be used as a vase
SABRE Bread Knife + Bottle Opener
I might be showing my age but I would love a really nice bread knife. Bundle it with food, tie beautiful ribbon around the bottom and you’re done.
When thinking of gifts for the homebody, I like to think of daily rituals and how you can add something a little more special to them.
PAN AFTER Beaded House Coaster
$$
Each hand beaded coaster is unique so I feel like this could be a perfect gift for someone who has recently moved into a new place. You could also just purchase one and frame it as artwork.
Under $100
If you’re gifting a candle, opt for one that’s vessel can be used when it’s finished. This is a perfect example of that, candle now - stunning ceramic vase later.
For the person that has everything
I like to think of this category as ‘things that the person might not ever buy themselves but would suit them”. Think about perishable gifts so they aren’t adding more ‘stuff’ So if they love cooking certain cuisines, you could source some interesting spices or ingredients and put it together as a hamper. Or deck them out with ingredients and utensils to make their favourite cocktail at home. If someone loves flowers or loves cooking seeds/plants are such a great gift (just never ask them if they are alive in a year’s time).
Willing to bet money on that they don’t have a wick trimmer in the shape of a ribbon…

Under $70
Under $115
$
The person who has everything also has a lot of packages so this little knife means they can open them wherever they are
Yes this is a very expensive candle however I think if you have the budget this would be the gift that keeps giving as they can use the vessel after as storage or a vase.
DIPTYQUE Ceramic for Wool and Delicate
Under $100
This is the perfect for the fashion lover in your life that you have no idea how to buy for. This scented oval hangs in the wardrobe so that their clothes always smell divine
For the beauty lover
I have collated some things that I would definitely use and love to receive. This is your time to force some beauty agendas of your own if you’re also a beauty lover. Trying to persuade your friends to use SPF daily? Gift a beautiful set of your personal favourites to convert them!
I also love to think about rituals for the beauty lover. Things that can enhance their routines. Maybe a new Gua Sha for facial massage, or a nice hair wrap or eye mask.
These are great because they are not only re-usable but also means the beauty lover can use whichever products they already know and love so it’s a win-win
ULTRA VIOLETTE Mini SPF Collection
This is for the person in your life that says they don’t like to wear SPF, this set means they can try all the different kinds and find one they love.
BASE CAMP BEAUTY Smoothing Brush
For your friend that loves a slick bun
LAURA MERCIER Liquid Blush Trio

Under $50
COMME DES GARCON Discovery Set
$$
Not all discovery sets are equal. The sets that stand out to me are those that either do something unique with the packaging of each scent (like this set) or have larger size travel sizes.
This is something you may not buy yourself but can add a little luxury to the receiver’s everyday. Lots of colours to choose from, packaging is already a 10/10 and I have only had beautiful experiences with the Hermes nail polishes.
Under $50

I use mine for everything from a beauty travel bag to a clutch in the summertime.

Your friend may know skincare but you know good design and the packaging on Foile skincare range will have them leaving their skincare out as a sculpture.

Nothing like gifting the beauty lover in your life something they may not have tried or heard of before
Under $60
Under $50 Gift

Under $50
I swear by these so I think they are the perfect for the person who is beauty/skincare obsessed but doesn’t yet have an inner beauty product they love
For the hobbyist
For the person who can list hobbies outside of watching Bravo most nights… Obviously no judgement here. One thing with gifting hobby-attached gifts - give your friends and family a pass by not asking for updates on said hobby. You gave them seeds that they didn’t water enough, no need to make them feel bad about it
It is almost that time when tennis takes over Australia so I feel like pink tennis balls might be perfect for your sporty friend
Perfect pin holder for your sewing friends
AMPD BROTHERS Retro Style Bike Bell
I feel like you could get extra points by getting a little personal message engraved on this
For the fashion lover
Fashion lover can be very hard to buy for because often clothes can be way too hard to pick for someone else, especially when they are particular. So I like to think of things that are fashion adjacent. Think accessories, storage, books etc that scream style versus fashion.
We are currently in Summer in Australia so you could also think about what could step up the beachwear kit for your stylish friend.
$$ They also have this in a scarf version that could double as a beautiful framed artwork if not worn
Sarongs are here in a big way for summer and they are great because you can get them in so many colours and patterns to really fit your loved one. They also can be used for a top or blanket by the beach as well.
$$
Comes in other colourways
$$ Comes in other sizes + gold
They may not be someone who would buy themselves designer socks so this could be the perfect treat at under $70. Also the pop of red is not only festive but on trend.
Luxe Gift

The perfect personalised gift for a loved one, choose the necklace or bracelet chain then add charms that speak to the person
Luxe Gift

When you’re stuck and out of ideas, fashion books are always welcome. A lot of the major designers have them out at the moment. You can get bonus points if you know some of the particular brands they like and source of book from them.
Under $70
Luxe Gift
For him
The gifts in the other categories aren’t just for the women in your life. I personally am even thinking of gifting my partner a PSF or skincare set so he stops pinching mine. However if you’re still stuck here are some other favourites…
If your man isn’t into candles, this incense + tin combo is a winner. Also can store things in it once he is finished
So your partner doesn’t steal your Frank Green
KLASSE WRECKS Early Skateboard Logo Book
Look into books/magazines around certain artists, photographers, architects, sports, cuisines, bands they like and see if you can find a cool book that they’d never buy themselves.
Candles may not be the man in your life’s thing but if it is, I would choose something like this one by Paul Smith. The branding is minimal and he can use the vessel after for razors etc.
I would get this for the man in your life that uses your skincare. I would purchase those products and pop them in here so that he has his own
Under $25 and will get respect from the women getting into their car
For the iPad dads…
Luxe Gift
FERM LIVING Smoke Grey Glasses
$$
This could be a nice gift packaged with a large square ice cube tray and ingredients of their favourite drink
$
Special sauces or relishes if they’re into food is a winner in my opinion. Something they may not buy themselves in their weekly grocery shop but is a little something nicer than Heinz
